The Role

What will I be doing?

Our Mechanical Fitters
sare essential within the branch network, you will build relationships with customers and understand their wider requirements in order to maximise sales growth.

You will be in regular contact with our customers andtherefore you play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience.

In order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will;

Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
Supervising a small team to ensure that great relationships are developed with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
Use our inhouse systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, keeping customers updated throughout their journey
Collaborate with the wider network to support Customer requirements and business activities
Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth
You may be occasionally required to carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop

As this role has a strong focus within our Tool Hire part of the business, we are looking for someone that loves to build relationships by helping our customers find the right tools they need and is able to generate sales both face to face and over the phone.

Industry experience is not essential but some mechanical knowledge would be preferable.

Key Requirements

Full Clean Driving Licence
Background with knowledge of or an interest in tools / engineering
Supervisory or team lead experience
