About the job?


Our Recruitment team is responsible for delivering an end-to-end recruitment service across the business to include Customer Service, Operations, Engineering and HQ functions.

As a seasoned Recruitment Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering innovative recruitment plans, attracting diverse talent at all levels and driving our people agenda.


Your main responsibilities will be:


  • Work with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create appropriate attraction recruitment plans.
  • Writing engaging job adverts and evaluating the effectiveness of recruitment activity.
  • Design and facilitate suitable interview and assessment methods.
  • Conduct/support interviews when required.
  • Support building employer brand awareness in the market
  • Proactively gather market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methods.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders across GWR network
  • Advise hiring managers and interview panels on interviewing best practices focussing on driving diversity in our hires
  • Work closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to advise on clear and effective job descriptions
  • Advise on market and industry trends

About you?

Ideally you will have:


  • Experience of leading and delivering Recruitment activity in the volume and/or specialist space with an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) lens
  • Knowledge of all relevant labour laws including the Equality Act 2010
  • Experience of managing an endtoend recruitment process (including conducting psychometric assessments) in a large, complex business
  • Level A&B certificates of Occupational Test use desirable
