**Proposals Engineer / Contracts Manager

Location**:
Leamington Spa, Warwick

Hours: 36.5 hours per week

Salary:
Up to 40K per annum (D.O.E) + Performance Bonus

**required to join a well-established company based in Leamington / Warwick on a permanent basis.

Our client is a global leader, specialising in the gas utility and energy industry, providing various solutions, building, and selling components.

The
Proposals Engineer / Contracts Manager will assume full technical and commercial responsibility for the preparation of quotations in response to a client enquiry.

The
Proposals Engineer / Contracts Managerwillquote based on standard price lists, contract pricing, and 'bespoke' orders needing accurate estimation of material, labour, and design costs.

Generally, quotations will cover stations and projects,however, bids comprising products and spares may also be prepared.

Reporting to the Sales and Operations Manager, the successful
Proposals Engineer / Contracts Manager will be a dynamic, results-oriented individual with ambition and drive to perform in a competitive arena against global businesses.

The duties and responsibilities of the Proposals Engineer / Contracts Manager:

Quotation generation for products and stations
Occasional visits to customer offices, gas/distribution sites, and 3rd party suppliers
Report generation for internal KPI's
Generate CAD drawings (GA, P&ID, support frames and Spool manufacturing drawings)
Consult with customers, suppliers and internal staff
Conduct themselves in accordance with company core values
Attend all company meetings (internal and external) to ensure professional presence

**The ideal Proposals Engineer / Contracts Manager should have: - Exceptional understanding of building and maintaining customer, sales, and contractual relationships

Experience within the energy industry in a technical / engineering role or similar
Business acumen with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Drive to perform in a competitive environment
Excellent computer skills i.e., Word, Excel, etc
3D CAD experience (ideally AutoCAD / ESApro)
Degree BSc/MBA or Equivalent industry experience
Full UK Driving License
