Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and update internal Quality Management System activity
  • Coordination and verification of site staff training and adherence to procedures, schedules, job aids, quality wall, sensory as well as compliant to company, legal & regulatory standards
  • Management of process controls (IMAX, freeweigh, checkweighers, metal detectors) to ensure these are operational and meets legal and business standards.
  • Drive Quality Cost Delivery and morale (QCDM) adherence to processes from a quality perspective by providing update on key metrics on right first time, KPI's and weaklink.
  • Support the frontline team on problem solving and decision making through leading problemsolving groups.
  • Management of nonconformance databases to ensure completion of CAPA in full on required timescales.
  • Verify quality checks completion and raise any concerns with FS &Compliance Manager
  • Verify Quality process adherence, compliance and deliver training on sensory and associated processes of quality wall and product quality.
  • Managing and training of traceability process
  • Complaints management including investigation and reports internal and external.
  • Monitoring budgets spend and reporting to Quality Manager
  • Participate in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points meetings and conduct internal audits
  • Active participation of site audits internal and external.
  • Training and coaching of frontline teams:
In new and existing quality and regulatory systems (validation and refresher training)

  • Dedicated support to site teams by providing guidance on holds and risk assessments
  • Support must win battles by leading workstreams related to quality metrics

Qualifications

  • Experience within a Quality role or Auditor in a Quality team from an FMCG environment
  • Experience of implementation and maintenance of Quality management systems
  • Knowledge of quality systems & processes (e.g., SPC, weight control & auditing)
  • Food Safety, HACCP, Internal Auditing
  • Decision making based on facts, risks and information gathered
  • Ability to audit against process and product specifications
  • Facilitation of root cause analysis
  • Excellent analytical / problem solving skills
  • Understand the consumer impact of what we do
  • Flexible, 'can do,' attitude to role and duties.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to show discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
