Customer Service Advisor

Location:
Towcester, Northamptonshire


Salary:
£19,000 - £21,000 depending on experience


Contract:
Full Time, Permanent


Hours: 37.5 Hrs per week - Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm with an hour lunch

Customer Service Advisor - The Role:

Solventis Solutions is looking for a
Customer Services Advisor to join their Customer Services team based in their modern offices in Towcester, Northampton.

The successful applicant will be joining a friendly established team where full training will be given.


Working within the customer services team, you will be responsible for processing sales orders and dealing with customer queries and complaints.

You will also work closely with suppliers.


Key tasks and duties

  • Receipt & processing of customer orders onto Sage 200 system
  • Daily stock takes 3 UK Warehouses
  • Manage the 'Customer Telematic System'
  • Dealing with customer queries & enquiries
  • Processing sales returns & logging them onto the nonconformance log
  • Manage customer calls daily
  • Work closely with suppliers through B2B Order Processing, inc. chasing & querying orders
  • Office administrative tasks as set by line manager

Customer Service Advisor - What we need from you:

Essential

  • Previous customer service experience essential
  • Driving licence with access to your own vehicle
  • Microsoft office programmes (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working within a team
  • Good A Levels

It is important that you are able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent customer service skills, including strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deal with difficult customers.
  • Ability to perform tasks under pressure and balance many tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload
- or work independently

  • Friendly, approachable, confident, and cando attitude with strong teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability priorities for this role can change quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team
Any previous experience on Sage 200 systems would be an advantage.
