GKH Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an experienced Traffic Management Operative for our client in Perry Barr, Birmingham. Please note that this is an agency role paid via PAYE, we cannot accept self-employed applicants.

We are currently looking for applicants with the following qualifications:

• M1/M2
• £13.00 per hour
• M3 £13.50 per hour
• M5 £14.50 per hour
• 12AB £14.50 per hour
• IPV Foreman £18 per hour

Your daily responsibilities will involve:

• Deploying Traffic Management equipment on both planned and reactive maintenance works
• Loading and unloading traffic management equipment onto vehicles (cones, signs, sandbags, frames etc)
• Assist the public, directing them through safe site lines when required
• Basic sign repairs on site
• Battery switchouts
• Permanent traffic signal switchoffs
• Ensure that daily vehicle checks are conducted to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of vehicle and the safety of the driver and passenger
• A full UK driving licence (Minimum 1 year experience)
• The ability to be proactive and use own initiative
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures as you will be working in a dangerous working environment

Due to restrictions within our insurance policy applicants must have held their driving licence for a minimum of 1 year with no more than six endorsement points.

Also, we cannot accept applicants with DD, DR or IN convictions.


Salary:
£13.00-£18.00 per hour
