Job AdvertWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Transport Planner to join our established Transport division

Your role will include:
- Delivering on a variety of transport projects both within the public and private sector, ensuring they are both technically excellent and commercially successful.
- Manage, develop, and maintain excellent relationships with statutory authorities, clients, architects, and the wider design team.
- Support with the develop of junior members of the team.
Our Transport division:
Our transport team are advising developers, planners, and public bodies to better understand travel behaviours which influences site development and investment in infrastructure.
We're engaged in all aspects of traffic and transportation planning, working on projects with a broad range of clients including public sector and private sector organisations.
Our work includes:
- Electric vehicle charging modelling
- Transport assessments
- Travel plans
- Vehicle and pedestrian modelling
- Expert witness
- Highways engineering design
- Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Modelling
- Electric Vehicle (EV) Advisory Services

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven experience in all aspects of development planning including Transport Assessments, Junction modelling and design, Masterplanning, Travel Plans and ES Transport Chapters.
- Post graduate qualification in transport planning/engineering or a degree in a related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant transportation modelling programs
- Junctions (ARCADY/PICADY), LinSig and TRICS.
- Understanding of the principles and outputs of strategic models (SATURN and VISSIM/PARAMICS) would be beneficial.
