Description

To perform respiratory virus testing using SAMBA II instruments and following laboratory standard operating procedures.

Participate in a 24/7 shift pattern to perform molecular testing for Respiratory Viruses using rapid testing platforms Document and communicate patient results both via telephone and electronically using the Pathology Laboratorty Informaion Sytem (LIMS) and EPR Sunrise Use knowledge and skills to troubleshoot equipment and minimise service downtime.

To undertake general house-keeping as specified in the SOPs and monitoring of the temperature of relevant refrigerators, freezers and incubators.
