The opportunity
The Wholesale Banking and Capital Markets (WBCM) team bring together a deep knowledge of industry trends and a strong execution experience to help our clients develop and execute their capital markets transformation agendas.
You'll help them modernise their infrastructure, deal with regulatory change, define their digital client strategy, enhance their client service experience, and adjust their long-term business mix.

Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for executing your role on a client delivery team to analyse and transform our clients' capital markets businesses.
You will work with your team to provide valuable insight and advice to clients to enable them to make strategic and operational decisions about their business.
You will also be responsible for supporting the Capital Markets practice in business development and go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, enhancing our capabilities and services.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Work experience in a strategy-focused role across the front, middle or back office, where you will have managed change and transformation that had a real impact to the business
- Strong track record in project delivery, with an ability to develop and deliver highquality output against project objectives to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of a range of financial products (e.g., derivatives, equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities) and industries (e.g., investment banking, brokerdealers, custody, fund administration, investment management)
- Expertise in policies, procedures, governance, design, and operations in relevant areas, such as trade life cycle, posttrade operations, frontoffice structure, clearance and settlement, client onboarding, treasury operations, collateral management and regulatory regimes
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Keen insights into inefficiencies across processes in the capital markets sector and ideas on how to improve organisational performance
- Demonstrated success in understanding clients' needs and developing service offerings to meet their needs, including providing advice on defining and designing business strategy, operations and other functional strategies
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and a selfstarter who is comfortable working in a fluid project environment with uncertainty and ambiguity
- Expertise in cultivating mid
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
