Greenwich

£40,000-£55,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)
One of our award-winning clients has an exciting new opening in the Southeast.

They are a specialist mechanical and electrical services contractor and are currently looking for time served commercial gas engineers to join their team.

They were first established1979 and have been providing high quality building support services to local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sector clients.

They have built strong market relationships with both their domestic and commercial clients.

Gas Engineer Key Duties:


  • To undertake necessary training on renewable systems and equipment to provide support to a rapidly expanding renewables team.
  • To complete boiler installations and servicing requirements.
  • To carry out reactive maintenance of gas heating boilers and associated controls.
  • To demonstrate good fault finding/diagnostic skills and to carry out necessary repairs/replacement of defective parts.
  • To be competent of draining down and refilling of heating systems in order to remove and replace defective radiators or associated isolation valves.
  • To ensure that all work carried out complies with the relevant sections of the 'Health and Safety at Work Act'
  • To take part in 'outofhours' emergency call out on a rotated basis.
  • You must have a full UK driving licence to be considered.
  • You must hold current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1).
  • Qualified in commercial gas (CIGA, CODNC01, ICPN1,TCP1A, CORT1, UVHW)
  • You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • You will be a good team player but also be able to work on your own initiative.
  • Any industry relevant qualifications/training courses will be beneficial.
