The Facility Management Technician in Confidence Virus Clearance is primarily responsible for the maintenance of the facility and warehouse to ensure studies are delivered to the customer on time and in compliance with regulatory guidelines such as Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles.


We are looking for a Facility and Warehouse Assistant at our Maxim Park site, just off the M8 between Motherwell and Airdrie.


In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the facility and warehouse at the Maxim Park site to ensure studies are delivered to the customer on time.

This includes goods in and out, ensuring stock levels are maintained, scheduling service engineers to maintain, repair and calibrate equipment and facility, writing and reviewing SOPs pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the facility and maintaining all records of work completed on the facility.


The team consists of 14 people at the Maxim Park site, we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.


Grow with us - Your Responsibilities

  • On a daily basis you will be ordering goods, booking goods in and out, checking stock levels, liaising with service engineers to maintain, repair and calibrate our equipment and facility, ensuring records of all work completed are provided to Sartorius and overseeing the equipment inventory system.
  • You will build relationships with external stakeholders to ensure all work completed for maintenance, repair and calibration is in a timely manner and to laboratory health and safety requirements.
  • Do you enjoy communicating with different teams? You will be the main point of contact for the site's facilities and stores needs.
  • In addition, you will be a key part of the team at Maxim Park driving continued success in line with Sartorius values.
  • You will work closely with the Head of Site to ensure the smooth running of the facility.

  • Enjoy problem solving with maintenance knowledge
  • Knowledge of GLP | GMP would be advantageous but not essential
  • Keen eye for detail

  • The ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
