Your Responsibilities

  • To process crude/part and fully refined oils from delivery to blending and loading for use in the food & feed manufacturing industry.
  • Operate a number of processes including chemical & physical neutralisation, Interesterification, deodorisation, bleaching, tank farm management, loading & blending.
  • Monitor and review plant conditions to ensure plant is running at optimum condition.
  • Manage changes in process conditions and react to optimise the process, minimising delays and meeting demand.
  • Adhere to ADM's health & safety commitment
  • Maintain housekeeping standards across site.
  • Ensure all company documentation is completed in a legible fashion, accurately, methodically and on a timely basis. Including (not exclusive) shift handovers in process documents and checks including glass registers, cleaning schedule, process checklists, vendors, delivery notes.
  • Front/first response/investigation for maintenance issues.
  • Allocation of duties via the shift manager.
  • This role is part of a Collective Agreement

Your Profile

  • GCSE Levels A to C or 9 to 4 (or equivalent) including English, Maths and Science
  • Basic Microsoft packages experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Reliable
  • Performance and results orientated
