About this Role
HospitalityOnCampus is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join its hospitality team as Operations Administrator.


This is a dynamic and critical role for the department to help facilitate the smooth running of the day-to-day activities by delivering administrative support to the HospitalityOnCampus team, including coordination of catering orders, invoicing and supplier purchasing administration.


Based within the central production kitchen, the role holder will be the key link between the bookings administration team, central kitchen team, and the operational areas on campus.


The post holder will support the Operations Manager and Head Chef effectively run the operation and department, including helping support the coordination of menus and allergen information, EPOS and stock administration, together with supporting coordinate weekly and monthly reports.

During busy periods throughout the year, the role will also support the booking administration team with catering orders for schools/departments across campus.


  • Role out of carbon footprint software and grading on all our menus
  • Introduction of new stock system
  • EPOS coordination across the department
  • Administrative improvements and streamlining, including the introduction of new software to improve the HospitalityOnCampus booking processes.


This is currently a part-time role, working 20 hours a week across 5 days, however with the project work that has been identified, there will be an opportunity for further hours depending on business levels and support required.

HospitalityOnCampus is responsible for the provision of all hospitality, events and dining services across the university campus, including within some key, iconic venues and facilities such as Manchester Museum and Whitworth Art Gallery.


With such a varied range of business across the week, the department is always a buzz of activity - no two days are ever the same.

The business operates 7-days a week, accommodating events and hospitality both daytime and evenings across the week, including weekends.
