Senior Immigration Specialist - EMEA & APAC
We are looking for an experienced Senior Immigration Specialist who is passionate about assisting employees grow their careers beyond current borders to join our team.
Based in our London office and part of a centralized Immigrations team, you will be responsible for guiding People Team, employees and managers on immigration policies and procedures across our EMEA and APAC regions.
What you'll do:
- Provide support and direction to hiring managers, employees and recruiters on immigration processes and the endtoend immigration life cycle
- Initiate case work with Expedia Group's Immigration vendor
- Work closely with Expedia's Mobility team on Immigration cases that also needs Mobility support
- Assist with Immigration related work on a daytoday basis
- Provide outstanding firstline immigration service; ensure queries in the Case management system are responded to in a timely manner and meets the needs of the customer
- Provide immigration training to internal partners
- Partner with our People Team and external counsel to continuously improve our internal processes and immigration program
- Maintain a compliant and organized filing system for immigrationrelated documentation
- Provide regular and adhoc reporting
- Build and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency
- Support Immigration team with any project work
- Actively participate with sharing knowledge and findings
Who you are:
- 5+ years of EMEA and APAC immigration experience
- Experienced working in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment
- Indepth understanding of immigration regulations and processes
- Experience with effectively collaborating across functional areas and exposure to global offices to ensure that immigration initiatives align as appropriate across the broader organization
- Experience working with HR Information Systems (Workday, Service Now, etc.) and case management software
- Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with the team, and has a biastoaction, data driven approach to work
- Willingness to go above and beyond to help the team
- Eloquent and fluent communicator
- Collaborating and working well together with others, ability to establish relationships at all levels
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
