We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our growing team at Woodford Primary School. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in supporting students with a variety of learning needs. You'll work alongside teachers to provide one-on-one or small group support, and empower students to reach their full potential.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join us on this journey.

This position is contracted on a
30 hours per week Term Time Only + 1 week.

This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.

In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks.

Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please see the Job Description attached below)

• To provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children in a safe, secure and stimulating kids club environment.
• To provide supervision of pupils during the lunchtime period both in the dining area and during playground activities.

Key Skills & Experience

• Sound educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*C) or equivalent
• NVQ Level 2 or above in childcare/play work or relevant qualification
• Experience of working in a school environment would be advantageous
