We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking to recruit a Business Support Officer.


Duties of the role include:

  • Providing full administrative/financial support to the service
  • Undertaking the proactive tracking of key information/performance data, ensuring data quality is maintained
  • Supporting workers in diary management, arranging venues, and coordinating meetings
  • Acting as a key contact for all incoming enquiries, building relationships with young people, carers, families, and other professionals to handle issues effectively and sensitively with discretion
  • Effectively using IT equipment
  • Assisting social workers in the use of electronic client record systems, supporting professionals to ensure the accuracy of data entered onto the systems
  • Ensuring all incoming correspondence is dealt with effectively/within corporate standards
  • Taking accurate minutes at large/complex meetings, transcribing/circulating them within agreed timescales
  • Maintaining extensive filing/record keeping systems, preparing legal files, photocopying confidential material, assisting in the preparation fo case records as needed in line with policy
  • Carrying out reception duties as required
  • Managing administration assistants, prioritising the allocation of work to them on a daily basis, providing training when required
  • Any other relevant duties as required
This position is a temporary role contracted until May 2023, working full time Monday-Friday, paying £10.81ph.
