We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking to recruit a Business Support Officer.Duties of the role include:
- Providing full administrative/financial support to the service
- Undertaking the proactive tracking of key information/performance data, ensuring data quality is maintained
- Supporting workers in diary management, arranging venues, and coordinating meetings
- Acting as a key contact for all incoming enquiries, building relationships with young people, carers, families, and other professionals to handle issues effectively and sensitively with discretion
- Effectively using IT equipment
- Assisting social workers in the use of electronic client record systems, supporting professionals to ensure the accuracy of data entered onto the systems
- Ensuring all incoming correspondence is dealt with effectively/within corporate standards
- Taking accurate minutes at large/complex meetings, transcribing/circulating them within agreed timescales
- Maintaining extensive filing/record keeping systems, preparing legal files, photocopying confidential material, assisting in the preparation fo case records as needed in line with policy
- Carrying out reception duties as required
- Managing administration assistants, prioritising the allocation of work to them on a daily basis, providing training when required
- Any other relevant duties as required
