Description
We're looking for an Operational Service Administration Assistant to support our Wheelchari Service.

The role consists of speaking to patients, carers and external service providers such as care homes to enable patients to access the service and to arrange appointments for clinical and home visits daily.


The admin team are first point of access for out patients so a great telephone manner and confidence when speaking on the phone is very important.


Usual day to day admin duties will be expected, such as printing, scanning and copying, sending of letters to patients and online mandatory training.


We are looking for a motivated and well-organised individual to be apart of an admin team and support the clinical team with the smooth running of a clinical service.


The post holder will understand and be able to carry out elements of the administrative role including answering/making calls and arranging appointments.

Answer the telephone and deal with enquiries, take messages and pass to the appropriate person to respond.

Use the BEST patient record system to support patient referrals, enquiries and appointment bookings

To undertake admin and data collation duties to ensure a comprehensive and efficient administration support service.


Support the Team leader and other team members in the day-to-day operational functions of the team and undertake any office duties to ensure the efficiency of the administrative service is always maintained.

This post requires the ability to prioritise a workload and meet the demands of the patients and staff/team.

Manage appointment diaries, ensuring appointments are booked and patients have been made aware of the appointment and the location

Maintain the work area in a clean and tidy manner always

Collaborate with our Contract Repair team to ensure equipment hand over has been arranged.
