A
Senior Project Manager with a background in
Software as a Service (SaaS) is required to join the European team of a leading automotive technology provider.


Over the last 20 years our client has grown significantly to become a key player in the automotive industry, they provide a lively culture, employee rewards and recognition and the opportunity to develop and implement innovative technology solutions.

  • The Role_
-
Manage project scope, resources, risks, issues, budget alongside timelines for customer projects based on the approved Statement of Work.

Build rapport with project stakeholders and instill confidence in the ability to add value and meet program and project objectives based on success criteria defined upfront.

Communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders, including senior leaders, and actively seek alignment with expectations on all aspects of project execution.

  • Act as the
    escalation point for issues as required, including continuously identifying dependencies and project risks. Identify and manage key risks and develop mitigation plans. Resolve crossteam issues in a timely manner and facilitatedecisionmaking and conflict management within the teams.
  • Support
    presales activities and creation / review of customer
    Statement of Work as required.
  • Ensure appropriate billing of project hours and allocate time and expenses to projects as necessary.
  • Track and submit
    forecasts for revenue and resources, in a timely and accurate manner.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging project management best practices.

Mentor junior members of the team and foster positive team morale. Help set standards for process excellence in project management for the Professional Services Organization and in alignment with the Project Management Office.

Project or program management experience working within a technology organisation with a focus on
Software as a Service (SaaS) in a must for this role.

  • Proven success in
    leading customer implementation teams and complex, global projects of medium to large scale is also required.
  • Demonstrated
    project leadership skills with direct responsibility for running cross functional project teams, budget and schedule against a customer or vendor contract.
  • The ability to
    motivateand lead internal and external resources to work together to resolve complex project problems including appropriately delegating to team members.
  • Business fluent
    German and English language skills are required.
  • Occasional travel is expected.
