What we're looking for:


Being a Membership Officer involves having the ability to plan and organise your workload as you'll need to work to agreed time scales when responding to membership enquiries.

You'll need to have excellent attention to detail as you'll be dealing with membership amendments, cancellations and refund requests.


Some of the things you'll get up to:

  • Providing a list of members who have not renewed on a weekly basis to the Compliance Team
  • Responding to member, consumer and other interested/relevant party compliance related enquiries such as whether an agent is a member and when they joined the respective scheme
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of what is happening in the property market generally and particularly with our members and prospective members
  • Attending trade shows and other events on behalf of all Schemes as and when required

We'd like you to have:


  • An excellent level of English and mathematical skills is essential
  • Relevant and appropriate knowledge of the Terms of Reference (following training)
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new systems and processes as required
  • Drive and selfdetermination with the ability to find and implement solutions to problems
  • Experience in the property sector especially the private rented sector, will be useful but not essential
