Description
Priory is the leading independent provider of mental healthcare and adult social care in the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Investigations Officer to join the team and support our growing business.

  • Attend where necessary the scene of the most serious patient safety incidents and assist in the maintenance and gathering of evidence including assisting other agencies such as the police in their investigation.
  • Communicate and engage with service users and their families/carers and staff in a positive and compassionate way in response to serious patient safety incidents and serious allegations as a means of helping to ensure transparency and candour. Maintain clear records of information gathered and contact with those affected and recognize when those affected require onward signposting to support services.

The post holder will assist in ensuring that:

  • Investigations are undertaken in a detailed and timely manner.
  • Wherever possible any lessons learnt from such investigations are shared across Priory to reduce the likelihood of further similar incidents.
  • Priory operates in a candid and transparent manner with the post holder liaising with external parties for example family, regulators, Coroners and safeguarding boards as required.

What we would like from the Senior Investigations Officer:

  • Online discounts and cashback rewards
  • SMART pension
