here**We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic individual to provide outstanding SEND provision and support for our most vulnerable students.


The ability to encourage and develop positive relationships with both students and staff and providing the best possible educational experience is essential for this position.

- keep all records of learners with SEND accurate and up to date.
- lead on identification, assessment and referral processes for teaching staff.
- organise and chair meetings with parents and other professionals in respect of learners with SEND.
- complete all relevant paperwork including One Plans, EHCP and returns to the Local Authority.
- track and monitor attainment progress, attendance, behaviour and destinations of students with SEND.
- organise all access arrangements for examinations in a timely manner.
- liaise with the Educational Psychologist and other external agencies, making referrals where appropriate.
- support staff in developing their teaching of pupils with SEND, providing training and briefings as required.
- report to the Deputy Headteacher (Student Wellbeing & Attitudes to Learning) and work closely with Pastoral Support Officers and Heads of Year.
- lead and manage the day to day operations including the wellbeing suite and deployment of SEND staff, ensuring students are kept safe and on task.
- be dedicated in providing the best possible educational experience for all our SEND students.
- have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
