Purpose of Position:

The Sales Systems Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining Salesforce and Apttus/Conga systems as well as other tools used by the Sales team, ensuring that the systems and processes are configured and available to support Sales team to function efficiently.


To ensure successful implementation of all Systems and tools, the Sales Systems Specialist will facilitate ongoing training and day-to-day support for the Sales teams and where required, Sales Management and the Executive Leadership Team.


Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Ownership of the NJE Sales systems including Salesforce CRM and Apttus Contract Management System acting as the primary point of contact for all system initiatives
  • Identify and manage improvement opportunities and change requests for all CRM configuration developments
  • Lead and drive projects relevant to the Salesforce CRM and Apttus Contract Management System
  • Facilitate crosscompany change discussions providing solutions, testing and validation utilizing the JIRA system
  • Manage change communication to all teams and lead CRM Champions forum
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure cohesion across various systems (SFDC, Apttus, CMS, ABS, IJet)
  • Define and maintain data quality standards driving governance and accountability from all system users
  • Mentor and energise CRM superusers in the business to help implement change regionally, and use their local knowledge to help build a harmonised CRM
  • Lead training curriculum development and implementation for all CRM Sales Users ensuring ongoing best practice sharing, retraining and support.
  • Document integral sales processes, produce and update relevant training material
  • Drive adoption and use within various teams developing and maintaining documentation to support learning and continued adoption
  • Manage licenses and user access, ensuring territory and business alignment
  • Focus on continuous improvement of business processes through process redesign, system enhancement and automation
  • Produce and manage dashboards and bespoke reporting within CRM
  • Provide ongoing day to day support to all sales users to ensure consistent usage across all regions

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs):

  • Educated to a degree level
  • Demonstratable experience in CRM (preferably Salesforce), Reporting Systems, Project management tools
  • Fluency in Business English (written and spoken)
  • High Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with coding, data management and/or process automation preferred
  • Detail oriented and organised
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
