Amalga are currently recruiting for an experienced Slinger/ Signaller to join our new project at Heathrow Airport from January 2024 on full-time, fixed-term contract.

As a slinger you will be carrying out one of the most important jobs on site. Demonstrating skill, diligence, and concentration you will be providing safe direction and supervision to the telehandler operator.

Their main responsibility is to ensure the safety of the operator and any other workers or site visitors that could be at risk.

Key Responsibilities:

Working as part of a team to successfully deliver logistics packages to our key client on the airport.
Providing safe directions to the telehandler operator
Providing a safe and efficient service to a multitude of other onsite trades
Ensuring the safe and timely movement of materials and plant to and from site
Setting up and maintaining a secure, clean, safe and compliant site

Requirements:

Valid CPCS A40a Trained Operator's card
Construction logistics experience
Verifiable 5year work / education history with no disqualifying convictions

What we can offer you:

Hourly rate starting from £14 on days and £17.50 on nights depending on experience (if you have additional skills that you think warrant a higher rate we are open for discussion)
22 days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays

£18.20 per hour
