About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic Event Assistant to support our Asian cooking classes and workshops. As an Event Assistant, you will play a role to contribute to the success of our events.
If you have any experience in organising cooking classes specialised in Asian cooking like Chinese dumplings, Korean fried chicken, kimchi making, or if you have strong interest in promoting Asian culture, this is the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
- You should be working with our staff to manage the preparation before the events, this may include sourcing materials, ingredients, logistic arrangement before the workshop.
- Help to handle set up for the cooking class, prep the food/ ingredients before the class, cook the food for the participants during the class and clearing up the kitchen, venue after the class.
- Warmly welcome participants at the reception, offer guidance and engage with participants in a fun way, making sure each participants has a memorable time
- You should be working with us to ensure rigid health and safety, kitchen hygiene and best practise, last but not least high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for Asian food, culture, and cooking
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Food industry experience especially in Asian food is preferable but not required
- Previous experience in similar role would be an advantage

£12.00-£15.00 per hour
