Newbury: 35 hours per week, Hybrid working

We're now looking for a SEO & Internal Search lead to come and join a fantastic and vibrant digital team here at our office in Newbury.

Your New role

The primary purpose of the role is to lead and develop search engine optimisation (SEO) initiatives for Saint-Gobain's building distribution brands in the UK.

You'll create and implement plans to support business objectives including digital revenue targets,lead generation and target audience site visitor numbers and conversion.

You will manage on-site search capability and performance and gather actionable user insights across both channels.

This role reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and you'll also be managing a team of 2 within the SEO team.

What you need to be successful
In order to be successful in this role you'll have deep understanding of how search engines work, and experience working on large ecommerce websites, strong technical SEO knowledge, and comfortable implementing solutions using new and experimental technologies,an understanding of how content can be used to drive website and business metrics, and be comfortable making recommendations and reviewing projects focused on this

You'll also have extensive experience working within an agency or brand setup, focused on improving search engine rankings for the business/clients; comfortable presenting to a range of individuals using effective and appropriate communications strategiesas well as understanding of on-site search and associated merchandising and how insights gathered can inform wider decision making.
