We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEO and Content Specialist to join our team.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve our website's visibility, drive organic traffic, and increase conversion rates.

Additionally, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content that aligns with our brand and resonates with multiple target audiences.


Salary:

£22,000 to £26,000 DOE


Responsibilities:


  • Strategy: Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute content strategies aligned with overall marketing goals and objectives.
  • Content: Create highquality, SEOoptimised content for the website including blog articles, case studies, product descriptions, landing pages and more and working with the external copywriting team to produce content optimised for SEO.
  • Research: Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for improving organic search rankings and increasing website traffic, and working with the Marketing Team to align PPC campaigns.

Page Optimisation:
Optimising on-page elements on the website including meta tags and headings to improve rankings.

Page Optimisation:
Build high-quality backlinks from reputable websites to improve the website's authority.

SEO:

Optimising the website for local search to improve visibility in local search results, including optimizing Google My Business listings and targeting location-specific keywords.


  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring website performance using tools including GA4, GSC and SEMRush and keeping the Marketing Team and Directors updated on key metrics and providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Essential Skills:


  • Proven experience in SEO and content marketing, with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with SEO tools including GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush or similar tools and utilising to implement ongoing improvements.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging, informative, and SEOfriendly content.

Qualifications and Soft Skills:


  • Degree in Digital Marketing or related, relevant qualification.
  • Proven experience as an SEO and Content Specialist or similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • The ability to think creatively and come up with innovative content ideas and SEO strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
