Venn Group are currently working on a position with one of our highly-regarded healthcare organisations, based in Hertfordshire, to source a Resource Planner for the following assignment:

Location:
Hertfordshire (mostly remote working)

Contract: 6 months

Hours: 37.5 per week


Your duties will include:


  • Proactively ensuring that the rota is resourced and moving resources appropriately
  • Liaise with line managers regarding the authorisation of annual leave and recording of sickness
  • Set up new employees on Rota Master
  • Working closely with the Service Manager and highlight any gaps or concerns and highlight vacancies
  • Ensuring short term absences are filled or addressed accordingly and flag to relevant managers
  • Using software tools as a resource tool effectively and accurately
  • Liaising with payroll regarding any payroll issues including cancelled shifts, absence, sickness etc.
  • Maintaining master rotas for each workgroup
  • Preparing the commissioner conference calls regarding rota fill
  • Proactively ensuring rotas are resourced to maximum potential, ensuring the right resources are allocated to the right place at the right time
  • Education to GCSE level with Maths and English as a minimum
  • Previous experience of resource planning and allocation
  • Previous experience in an administration role
  • Experience of liaison with third party suppliers
  • Strong people skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate to achieved desired outcome
  • High levels of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills that will include a variety of methods
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills.
  • Able to respond to changing priorities
  • Diplomacy and high levels of discretion
  • Strong IT skills
