We have an exciting opportunity for registered healthcare professionals to join the Oncology at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, as a Assistant Clinical Practitioner.

We are looking to appoint ACP's who will be supported to develop expert oncology knowledge whilst utilising their clinical skills within our service.


Successful post holders will undertake work in a singe tumour site and will work autonomously amongst a multi professional tumour site team.

Please note this advertisement is for both full time and part time opportunities.

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner in oncology assessment services will work autonomously as a practitioner. They will undertake clinical assessments for elective cancer patients, such as pre-SACT assessment and follow up.

They will order and carry out investigations and initiate treatments within defined competence and protocols in collaboration with the senior clinicians and multi-professional team.


They will provide leadership and clinical support to nurses and AHPs working in the elective assessment service in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary and senior nursing team.
