Aquatic Ecologist - Glasgow


I am on the lookout for an Aquatic Ecologist to join a fantastic water practice team in Glasgow The team works alongside range of departments within a major multidisciplinary consultancy, where they have the opportunity to collaborate and develop theirskills This is a great opportunity to work with likeminded people who are sustainably aware and passionate to provide exceptional level of expertise.

Responsibilities include;

  • Involvement in the production of technical assessment such as the HRA, WFD, EPS and MCZ.
  • Collaboration across the Ecology team.
  • Have enthusiasm for new challenges
Requirements are;

  • Commercial consultancy experience.
  • Preferably an aim to achieve CIEEM or Chartered Ecology status.
  • A great knowledge of UK and EU Wildlife Legislation, planning policies. Licencing requirements and survey techniques.
