We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join a respected supplier of flooring materials based onsite In the Tyseley area of Birmingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, close-knit Accounts Department with career progression available. This is a full- time permanent role, based onsite Monday-Friday. Hybrid working of one day per work will be introduced following a successful 6-month probationary meeting.
To be considered for the Accountants Assistant role you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an account's role
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
- Highly organised, ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
An overview of the Accounts Assistant role Includes:
- Managing a wide variety of bookkeeping and accounts tasks
- Processing purchase Ledger Invoices and supplier payments
- Suppliers' account reconciliation
- Sales ledgers payments and credit control
- Dealing with customerrelated queries for sales and purchase ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Supporting with purchasing and IT tasks
- Processing Credit notes
- Monthend and year end support
- Other adhoc duties
