My client who operates a succesful data monitoring platform that helps underwriting operations is hiring a DevOPs Engineer.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of our cloud software solutionsto our customers.

Relational databases (e.g.
Sql Server, Oracle, postgreSQL, etc)

C# (.NET 6) with
SignalR
HangFire

You will be responsible for service delivery, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and helping implement and maintain all of this as immutable infrastructure-as-code.

You will also be expected to be the SME of all things DevOps and sharing knowledge ofyour expertise with the rest of the team as needed.

Secondarily you will pitch in with regular development work and act as a developer when needed.

What you will do:

Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructureascode
Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
Support and work alongside a crossfunctional engineering team on the latest technologies
Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments
Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team

What will help you succeed in this role:

Experience maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale
A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via powershell, bash, etc)
Expertise with Azure IaC (ARM templates\Powershell)
Expertise with implementing CI\CD using Azure DevOps yaml pipelines
Experience with AAD, PIM and managed identities
Experience with Azure Virtual Networks S2S and P2S
Experience with Git and TFVC
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef)
Ability to work closely within a very friendly team
Have a can do, positive and friendly attitude
Effective communication skills
