Description

Lead in anaesthetics and/or scrub on potentially a daily basis in absence of band 6 practitioner To provide clinical support & teaching to all relevant personnel within the specialist area.

To provide technical & clinical advise to relevant colleagues in the Day Surgery Unit and Pre-Operative Assessment. To provide information & support to patients before, during and after surgery. Willing to undertake training within the Perioperative setting either anaesthetics, scrub or recovery.

To provide & assist with the development of safe & high quality specialist patient care & to work within the guidelines of the Trust Nursing & Midwifery Strategy.
