Description
The tutor will be responsible for Early Years Apprenticeships, working with Apprentices from enrolment through to EPA.

To take total ownership of learners' progress through their learning programme; ensuring that learners receive the necessary learning support in order to complete the programme.

The post holder will also be required to enrol new learners on to learning programmes, carryout teaching, learning and assessment and complete exit paperwork/ provide IAG on further learning opportunities


To be based East Midlands and surrounding areas

Duties:


  • Carry out teaching, learning and assessment within area of occupational competence.
  • To develop and deliver training modules and underpinning knowledge for the adult educations courses and to support the Apprenticeship teams as and when necessary.
  • To support development and implement schemes of work and interactive lesson plans/ resources
  • To complete the necessary scheme documentation including paperwork for induction to programme, course review, learner progress, attendance documentation and completion/leaver paperwork.
  • To embed development of Maths, English and/ or ICT (as needed)
  • To mark work and feedback appropriately and timely to learners, following organisational systems and procedures
  • Carry out regular learner reviews and support timely achievement of individual and classroom learning groups and to maintain funding compliance.
  • To carry out any administrative work associated with the learning programmes
  • Work in partnership with Lead IQA's and Operations Managers to ensure that monthly targets are achieved.
  • Maintain regular contact with learners and partners/ parents/employers/ referral agencies.
  • Work with partners/ referral agencies to vet potential learners and check eligibility and arrange enrollments, updates on progress and deal with problems.
  • Carry out initial assessments, including identification of additional support needs and arrange appropriate support.
  • To travel to a range of different delivery locations
  • To perform such other duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.
  • Update, maintain and ensure the security of relevant IT systems and equipment.
  • Monitor learners within your area of responsibility.
  • Liaise with outside agencies with regard to learners within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that you are up to date with funding rules.
  • Quality assure all administrative documentation in your area of responsibility to an auditable standard with the Awarding Body and funding organisations in conjunction with the Group Head of Quality.
  • Any duties associated with internal and external audits and Ofsted.
  • To take reasonable care of own health, safety and welfare and that of other persons who may be affected by his or her acts or omissions in the work place.
  • To participate in the Company's staff appraisal ensuring set objectives are achieved.

Qualifications
TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33

NNEB, Level 3/4 CCLD or equivalent

Required to deliver apprenticeship programmes
