Responsibilities of Patient Services Team Leader
Responsible for the smooth running of the bookings administration function
Providing training and induction programme for all new starters within the team.
Manage and update CMA regulation documents
Attend weekly hospital capacity meetings and carry out actions
Complete daily activities i.e. Datix, Uniform orders, Duty Rotas, Additional Hours requests, Annual leave requests
Setting standards to team members, presenting a professional outlook around business and strategic decisions
Fully trained on all areas of the booking function (Admissions, Outpatients, NHS and Pre Assessment) to enable cover if required and or support for the team should they have any issues.
Responsibility for Workday sign off process in absence of Sales and Services Manager
Manage your time to coach and develop others as required, completing staff return to work forms
Complete 1-2-1 meetings and chair regular team meetings.
Works closely with the heads of all departments to ensure smooth and efficient admin processes.
To provide clinic support, including but not limited to:
Admit/Discharge patients
Switchboard
Payments
Face to Face Enquiries
Manage Small Team
Opening/Closing of Reception Area
Liaise with all Head of Department Teams
