Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fabricate metal parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the layout and assembly of parts.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and bend metal components to specified dimensions.
  • Weld components together using various welding techniques such as stick welding.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
  • Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and dimensions.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy during fabrication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Proficient in various welding techniques including stick welding.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.55-£14.00 per hour
