If you have aviation experience this would be very advantageous.

Our client in Stansted is looking for an Operations Assistant to join their team.

Your main duties will be to provide support to the Operations Controller to ensure the smooth running of the department.

This role is on a 12 hour shift pattern working 4 days on and 4 days off, this includes weekend work, morning and night shifts

Main Duties

  • Providing support and assistance with the day to day running of Operations
  • Booking aircraft handling into the Company system
  • Arranging hotels, fuel and transport
  • Responsible for the collating of fuel figures into Excel
  • Providing crew with NOTAMS and weather reports
  • Assisting on the ramp as and when required including loading of baggage
  • Acting as first point of contact for crew and assisting with any queries
  • Entering passenger passport details into the system when on nights
  • Providing Assistance to the CSR's as required
  • Providing toilet and water services as required

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide a high level of Customer service
  • Good keyboard skills and a competent computer user with the ability to use Excel
  • Willingness to be flexible towards working hours so that all shifts and workload are covered
  • Capable of working shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays
  • Educated to GCSE level with grade C passes in English and Maths
  • 5 year checkable work history is an essential requirement for this role
  • Demonstrable experience within Aviation
  • Previous Operations experience is desirable
  • Service Industry experience would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of CFMU and FBO1 would be desirable but training will be given
  • Previous GA experience would be advantageous
  • Flight planning experience is desirable

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
