College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences / Business School / Executive Development

Open ended (Permanent)

Full time, 35 hours per week


We are looking for a professional, customer-focused experienced Administrator to work as a key member of a busy Executive Development Team.

The role directly contributes to the successful delivery of executive education activities by providing a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships, providing excellent customer support and administrating tasks in a timely and professional manner.


The Opportunity:


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Good standard of education (Vocational qualification
  • N/SVQ 3, ONC or equivalent plus work experience in a relevant role OR school education to standard grade or equivalent plus relevant work experience.
  • Experience of organising corporate events and/or delivering executive education online, hybrid and inperson.
  • Excellent professional and confident communication and interpersonal skills, both in writing and in person.
  • Demonstrably good organisational planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and effectively how to use new webbased (and other IT) packages.
  • Experience of using MS Office and online meeting facilitation tools such as MS Teams and Zoom.
  • Experience of working and responding independently, using initiative and keeping calm under pressure.
  • Experience of working in a University/Executive Education/Corporate Events environment.
