Northwest/ North London, travel as business needs require.


Salary:
£40,000.00 per annum


Job Type:
Full Time, 42.5 hours per week.

Robert Heath specialises in providing domestic and commercial mechanical works within the Public Sector and Social Housing. We are currently engaged in long term contracts with Housing Associations and Local Authorities covering over 100,000 properties across the UK completing such works as heating and renewable installation upgrades, as well as service and maintenance and commercial heating


We have an exciting opportunity for a
Technical Field Officer to work with our domestic heating and renewable team across multiple stakeholders in.

Working with the Regional Technical Manger the successful TFO will play an important role in the day-to-day Installations and Renewables deliveries across the UK


Overview of role:


Efficiently supervising heating and renewable teams to successfully deliver high levels of quality and performance whilst being fully competent in all aspects.

Managing a team of operatives to undertake a wide range of works in domestic and commercial properties

Contract supervision


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Act as contractual liaison for technical support for field engineers
  • Monitor & supervise engineer's indaily workloads
  • Complete Full Heating Surveying
  • First line of escalation for engineer's job conformations and absence reporting,
  • Responsible for reporting absence to the HR Department
  • Continuous reviews of engineer productivity to fulfil forecast targets
  • Responsible for allocating complaints, seeing through to completion
  • Delivery off Toolbox talk presentation including H & S requirements
  • Support PDA Training and support
  • Managing control of external safety audit failures
  • Responsible for completion of internal safety audit
  • Enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Act as contractual liaison between employees and customers/suppliers
  • Manage and resolve day to day field issues as they occur
  • Responsible for monitoring and guidance for filed safety.
  • As required, provide guidance on contract matters to Engineers or other operational staff.
  • Other general business requirements

Qualifications/Experience required:


  • At least 23 years' experience within Supervision role.
  • Current gas qualifications CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA
  • Unvented hot water (Desirable, not essential).
  • Water bylaws 2000 (Desirable, not essential).
  • OFTEC Oil and Renewables Training (Desirable, not essential).
  • Good communication and influencing skills.
  • Accurate recording and reporting of information.
  • Ability to working autonomously.
  • IT skills (desirable as training would be provided).
