Key Duties include:

• To inform local parents/carers of Giggle N Grow services
• To deliver music, movement, story sessions and shared play for families with children aged 0
• To encourage parents/carers to participate in local Giggle N Grow events
• To liaise with local services and agencies to promote Giggle N Grow events for local families
• To cooperate and collaborate with local parents/carers, and partners to ensure the success of the project
• To assist the Giggle N Grow Managerial staff in the monitoring and evaluation of the project
• To attend all training relevant to your post
• To undertake any other appropriate duties as directed by the Giggle N Grow Management

Desirable:

• Bookbug Session Leader Training
• Driver with use of a car

Person Specification

Giggle N Grow Session Leaders must have:

• Have excellent communication skills
• Have the ability to engage with children/parents/carers
• An in depth knowledge of child protection procedures
• Have experience of working with children (essential)
• Possess good organisational skills
• Have knowledge of the local area in relation to the provision of early years services/agencies
• Have the ability to network with local parents/carers, childcare providers and relevant partner agencies
• Be able to work on your own initiative
• Have good administration and IT skills
• Have a flexible approach to work

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 12 per week


Salary:
£11.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
