Senior Digital Product Owner - Payments centric, Transformation
We're looking for a Senior DPM to with strong Payments and Digital Payments experience, such as Apple Pay, Klarna etc.
This is a delivery focussed role, where strategy and roadmap are in place and they need an experienced person to come in drive the deliveryof the Platform roll out, where the go live date is Jan 2024.
The client are in the early stages of a large scale and critical transformation of their Web and Digital Channels, and in turn the payments platform that sits across it all, which is responsbilefor 60% revenue of their entire business.
You will work closely with them to align roadmaps, business opportunities with stakeholder priorities and interests across their critical products for this client.
Responsibilities
- Lead a product team to deliver exceptional results: guide, present challenges, trusting and allowing the teams to determine how to deliver what you require
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, build and maintain the product backlog, analyse business requirements and produce user stories and acceptance criteria
- Contribute to the broader culture of Kingfisher by evangelising an agile mindset and lean approach
- Working with the Product Manager and Experience Lead to shape the longterm product vision
- Deliver key initiatives to meet our business objectives
- Be the voice of Kingfisher Group customer and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to effectively represent customer needs
- Immerse yourself in insights and learning from competitor analysis, user research and qualitative and quantitative data to inform new ideas and optimisation
- Explore and champion new ideas, assess project results and celebrate success
Skills & experience:
- Experience as a Digital Product Manager with a strong digital and commercial background
- Extensive knowledge of Payments domainc: BACs, Chaps, Apple Pay, Klarna, etc
- Understanding of Agile principles and experience with different methodologies
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams
- Confident working with ambiguity and to challenging deadlines
- Comfortable with technical conversations initiating and understanding them
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
- Passionate about solving problems for our customers and colleagues
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence would be beneficial, but not essential
- A background from retail, travel or finance would be an advantage, but it is not essential
