Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the kitchen staff with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Stock and organize supplies in the kitchen
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or chef
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a hotel, restaurant, or culinary environment is preferred
- Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
