Reference No Title- Procurement Administrator- Type- Permanent- Salary Range- Competitive- Division- Business Services- Sub Division- Business Services- Department- Strategy & Planning Location- 55 Baker StreetBased in our Baker Street Head Office, we are looking to recruit a Procurement Administrator to support our Procurement team with the administration resulting from increased procurement activity/tenders and a new procurement software system which contains over 2,700 suppliers/contracts.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in procurement/supplier management.Respnsibilities:
- Alongside the Procurement team, assist with the development and population of a centralised procurement software system, learning how to fully use the system for onboarding, contract management and eSourcing and being able to train others.
- Utilise external software to verify suppliers such as credit reports, health & safety and electronic signatures.
- Utilise internal software such as: Converge, Working Life/SAP, Teams, SharePoint
- Prepare and review supplier onboarding questionnaires and tender documentation
- Complete contractual documentation and uploading the documents to the relevant software systems
- Prepare regular reports on the status of suppliers and expenditure reports
- Research supplier's contact details via search engines and input into supplier onboarding software system
- Repetitive dataentry
Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required:
- Able to carry out webbased research on suppliers/products
- Attention to detail and able to work under pressure to deadlines and within defined parameters
- Reliable, helpful, methodical and ability to work in a team or alone
- Pleasant and confident telephone manner and efficient in communicating
- Willingness and ability to learn on the job, keen to undertake training
- Stakeholder liaison
