Description

Our Organisational Development, Staff Experience and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Teams have recently grown in number to build on the strides we've taken in recent years.

We're big on impact, so our new Staff Experience Coordinator will join a diverse, high-performing team who take real pride in making a difference.

Our Coordinator will work closely with the teams, and network across all levels of the organisation, to support the delivery of the OD, Staff Experience and EDI agenda.

The scope of that agenda is huge and our priorities aim to help support East Kent Hospitals to be the best it can be.

We care about our people and strive for high quality in everything we do.

This role would suit someone who not only feels they can make a difference, but who wants the opportunity to contribute to improving the working lives of our 10,000 strong East Kent Hospitals team.

Ideally, they will have an understanding of OD and Staff Experience, have experience of delivering on a range of projects, and have an interest in supporting people in a fast paced environment where no two days are ever the same.

We are looking for someone who shares our passion and ambition to deliver the highest standard of service to our organisation and all of the people in it.

Proactive, determined, collaborative and enthusiastic are some the words we would use to describe our prospective Staff Experience Coordinator.

Sound like you? Then you could be just what we are looking for.

Provide comprehensive and efficient administration, project support and input to Staff Experience, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Organisational Development projects, resolving day-to-day problems independently.

The organisation is currently launching its new improvement focus in the form of an improvement system called We Care.

The We Care System is a fundamentally new model that the organisation will be shifting to, it champions empowerment, promotes innovation and will bolster the connection and collaboration of staff throughout the organisation.

The We Care System utilises a multi-layered approach to improvement allowing staff to develop and produce a variety of ideas to combat the issues and problems that have been identified.

The system allows for the deployment of:

  • Strategic Initiatives which are long term projects and focus led and driven by our executive
  • Trust Priority Improvement Projects which are short term projects allocated to a range of project teams made up from our staff groups focusing on impacting our True North metrics and breakthrough objectives
  • Ward Based OMS which delivers daily management and continuous improvement on the frontline
