Are you passionate about electrical systems and interested in a career as an electrician? Do you enjoy problem-solving and working with your hands? We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and assist experienced electricians in various electrical tasks, including installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential properties.
  • Support the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
  • Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues, identifying faults, and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Learn to test electrical systems and equipment using appropriate tools and instruments to ensure proper functioning.
  • Assist with installing and maintaining electrical panels, meters, and distribution boards.
  • Comply with electrical codes and safety regulations, following safe work practices to protect yourself and others.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
  • Undertake training and development activities as part of the apprenticeship program, enhancing your knowledge and skills in electrical systems and industry standards.

Requirements:


  • Strong interest in electrical systems and a desire to pursue a career as an electrician.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to work with tools and equipment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with colleagues and residents.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
