Description

We are looking for a Partners Community Specialist to own projects related to Bolt's engagement with drivers, couriers and fleets.

The successful applicant will work closely with marketing, local ops and management teams to deliver ongoing community engagement via regular forums, engagement sessions and online correspondence.

The goal for this role is to foster and develop the people who use Bolt so they can advocate for the business.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Organising regular forums with drivers, fleets and couriers to understand their issues and concerns and to update them on developments within Bolt.
  • Presenting on topics which are relevant to drivers, such as EV transition, passenger and driver safety, remuneration, fraud and processes around blocking or removal.
  • Feeding back on learnings to various stakeholders in the business to ensure Bolt's driver offer is best in class.
  • Spotting and mobilising the most appropriate drivers/couriers/fleets who may be willing to advocate for Bolt's model with external audiences.
  • Mapping and responding to trade union and community groups with a view on the Bolt platform.
  • Finding ways to collaborate with other influential organisations such as cycle enthusiasts, city planning groups and environmental campaigners.
  • Organising regulatory forums to share learnings and best practice, finding areas of commonality and potential changes which can improve standards for the sector as a whole.

What we are looking for:

  • A people person, good listener and excellent presenter with an interest in the platform economy and experience of working closely with community groups.
  • Events and logistics/budget management experience across a variety of countries.
  • Willingness to travel widely, setting deadlines, collaborating with other functions like marketing and ops and project managing a variety of processes.
  • Resilient and capable of adapting to uncomfortable situations and responding to pressure.
  • Excellent English langauge skills, both written and oral.
  • An understanding of the issues in taxi and private hire would be a distinct advantage, as would previous experience of engaging with trade unions or regulators.
