Hi-Force is a thriving, family-owned company that has been trading since 1982.

An opportunity has arisen for an Assembly Fitter to join our team in Daventry to support the Assembly Department in achieving required delivery dates.

Job Type:
Full-Time (39 hours per week)


Reporting to:
Assembly Supervisor


Duties:

Responsible for the correct assembly, testing, painting (where required) and finishing of the production batch within the accepted time limits and quality requirements, as defined by the Company.

All documentation to be completed accurately and eligibly, anomalies on the bill of materials or non-conformances to be reported to the Assembly Supervisor.

Demonstrate build or assembly techniques if required and safely conduct actions at all times in a professional manner.

Responsible for high levels of housekeeping, not only around own work area but also across the whole department.

Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate.


Person Specification:

• Product Knowledge
• Handson assembly / knowledge
• Correct use of Laser and Dot Matrix Marking Equipment
• Masking / Painting / Finishing
• Excellent communications skills able to liaise with different departments.
• Willing and able to take responsibility with minimum supervision.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to identify Product failures and effectively communicate to appropriate line management.
