Job Role:
Data Modeller

Location:
London,UK

Duration: 6+Months Contract (Inside IR35)

Experience:7-9Years

Job Purpose and primary objectives:


  • As a Data Modeller, you will be helping with building enterprise scale data model. In your role you need to
  • Understand business requirements sessions with Product Owners, Data SMEs, Business Analyst
  • Build denormalized data model for various layer one for the enterprise level view and other for the consumption aggregated view
  • Build logical & physical data models
  • Have high level understanding of data platform alternatives (e.g. RDBMS, DWH, Data Lake etc)
  • Have an understanding of modern development lifecycle (DevOps / DataOps)
  • Have high level understanding of data quality and profiling (E.g Using different tools to profile data)

Key Skills/Knowledge:


  • Data modelling
  • Data Modelling tools (ER Studio preferred)
  • Data Warehousing/Datalake (AWS preferred)
  • Analytical problemsolving skills
  • Strong SQL skills

Experience required:


  • At least 4 years' experience as data modeller
  • Experience in building logical & physical data models
  • Experience on various data platform alternatives (e.g. RDBMS, DWH, Data Lake etc)
  • Have an understanding of modern development lifecycle (DevOps / DataOps)
  • Have high level understanding of data quality and profiling (e.g. Using different tools to profile data)
  • Good influencing skills in order to agree priorities, drive through the right outcomes & resolve conflicts

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
From £500.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
