We are seeking to recruit an experienced creative Allied Health Professional who has Sensory Integration Practitioner status, and who is passionate about supporting children, young people and their families were sensory processing differences are having an impact on their lives.

This role is an exciting opportunity enabling you to further develop your career and to be part of a forward thinking dedicated team who strive to provide a high standard of service using sensory based approaches.


The Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust Sensory Processing Service covers Hull and East Riding with an office base in Beverley and clinic spaces in Hull and Beverley.

The service works with to meet the needs of children and young people aged between 0-18 years old who present with Sensory Processing differences that are having an impact on their daily function.


This post will involve completion of consultations, sensory assessments and relevant treatment plans, developing and providing training in sensory processing and supervising others.

The role involves service development to identify and meet the needs of those accessing the service.

The service is continuing to grow and evolve in response to the local need.

This is an exciting time to come and join the team and be a part of further shaping the direction of the service.

Induction, training, professional development, and regular supervision will be available to the successful applicant.


You will be working collaboratively with qualified and unqualified members of the team to develop and build on your existing skills and knowledge.

You will be expected to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop specialist skills in Sensory Processing and Neurodiverse conditions.

The sensory processing service works collaboratively with Education, Social Care and other providers in the city of Hull, East Riding and the wider community, as appropriate.
