Outsourced Bookkeeper
Atom Financial provide a wide range of Financial Consultancy services to help SME businesses grow, offering a flexible, highly experienced alternative to in-house recruitment.
Atom Financial help their clients achieve investment, organic growth and growth by acquisition and work with scale-up businesses to support them on their growth journey.
In this role the Outsourced Bookkeeper will be responsible for the following:
- Management of sales and purchase Ledger
- Processing and reconciling bank transactions
- Preparing VAT returns
- Maintaining journals
- Processing payment runs
- Producing & processing invoices
- Making payments to suppliers and creditors
- Checking and process expense claims
- Assisting with preparation of clients management accounts
- Assisting in budgeting and cash flow forecasts
- Assistance with payroll duties
- Liaising and working directly with a range of external clients
- Have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role (requirement).
- Have excellent attention to detail and possess good initiative and able to work independently.
- Be a confident communicator.
- Have experience using Xero software (preferable).
- Salary: £25k £28k (DOE)
- Hybrid working (at least 1 day p/w at Head Office in StocktononTees) & potential onsite client working
- 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
