1.0FTE, 37 hours per week

As part of Professional Services Redesign Phase 1, we are now seeking a Head of Research to join the senior leadership team.

As Head of Research, you will provide leadership for the continuing development of and support for a vibrant and focused research culture at UoG, for planning and developing a successful REF submission that will result in positive outcomes, and an increase in grant capture and high-quality outputs.

You will also lead on the development of a refreshed Research Strategy

If you are successful in this post, you may be asked to start the role on a fractional post to allow for any teaching or handover that will need to take place.

You will start the role full time as soon as possible after appointment, but no later than the start of the new academic.
